Sometimes my small-town sidewalk conversations get me in trouble, but most of the time they turn out alright and even more than alright.
A long time ago, I stopped on the sidewalk to chat with a family because their dog looked a lot like mine. Mine, Barnaby…theirs, Oakley. As we learned more and more about each other\’s dogs, we realized that they were litter mates. As in actual brothers! Since that day, we bump into each other every now and then, and I get to take an updated photo of the two brothers, Barnaby and Oakley,…observing how they change with time on their separate adventures in the city. It\’s always a sweet pause for me. (Or maybe I should say sweet paws…)
The sweet pauses of life.
May we all embrace the sweet pauses of life.
🙂
