How Many Deaths did COVID-19 Really Cause? A Quick Lesson On Causation Using Coffee Mugs

Causation can be tricky, especially if you believe in upstream & downstream causes for a happening. I invite you to watch my Instagram video related to the “now infamous” CDC report that came out & gave folks the idea that COVID-19 only caused “6% of deaths.” It’s not correct to interpret the chart that way, and I use my kitchen, a subpar webcam and my coffee mugs to explain the difference between “component causes” and “necessary causes.” I hope it makes sense. Feel free to share & follow on Insta too!  Best, Erin
